Kamukha mo si...
Growing up in the 90’s means growing up to the Eraserheads music and their contemporaries. Last night, I was very blessed to see them perform their “Final Set”.
My brother and I are very fond of these legends. In fact, he has every albums of the group when we were younger, though it was still that thing we called cassette tapes (kids paki- google na lang kung di nyo to alam). Hehe. The first song that I learned to play in the guitar was Ang Huling El Bimbo. Every girl in our school has a crush on Ely Buendia. Boys wore converse and adidas shirts. We saved money to purchase song hits whenever the band is the cover. And the nostalgia can go on and on…
During the concert, there were moments of too long breaks but, what the heck, it was still worth the wait! They did not disappoint when they played their best songs. It was effortless and the four of them were actually talking just like the old days. Good times indeed! I found myself singing to their older songs. Surprisingly, I still knew some of the lyrics! So there, an Eraserheads fan who had one of the best times of her life!
Iba pa rin talaga kapag kumpleto sila. Nakakatindig balahibo. Ang sarap pumikit at namnamin ang lahat.
Maraming salamat sa mga alaala at musika! /njda
